Unlike most dental benefit providers, CAREington International is the brainchild of two dentists. Twenty years ago they realized that many people were not receiving proper dental care, due in large part, to financial reasons. Some companies were passing the high cost of dental benefits on to their employees, many of whom were choosing to let their families do without. Others were simply eliminating dental coverage from their benefits package altogether. Hence, in 1979, the doctors founded a member network that benefited both companies and individuals. They amassed a fraternity of dentists who agreed to charge considerably lower fees to their counterpart patient members... and it worked! Today, with over 20,000 participating dentists, CAREington International offers one of the largest panel of providers in the country. We also give the healthiest fee reductions - two to three times larger than most dental benefit companies.
